Welcome

Welcome to the Bluegrass Early Care and Education Blog! Here you will find a wealth of information ranging from "how to's" and resources to kid-approved dinner recipes, birthday party ideas and everything in between. But first, a little bit about myself! I am Mrs. Jaime and I opened Bluegrass Early Care and Education 11 years ago with the mission of providing a quality and faith-based program to the youngest members of our community. Our goal is to create an environment that fosters love and friendship, builds character, and facilitates learning to provide children with a strong foundation they will carry throughout their lives. I have been married for 18 years and have a 15 year old son and 14 year old daughter. If you don't see me at the daycare, you may find me at the hospital! I am also a critical care nurse at the University of Kentucky, and currently in school for a master’s degree to serve as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I have the goal of one day expanding Bluegrass Early Care and Education to serve the children of our community in a variety of ways including psychiatric-mental health care and counseling services. I have faith in the vision that God has for our little enterprise!

Our goal with this blog is to create a sense of community while sharing thoughts and ideas on things that matter to us as parents and friends. This will always be a safe place to ask questions, seek assistance, and simply share what's on your heart as it pertains to our stories. After all, it takes a village!
